SUMMARY

We are looking for a world-class Product Manager to help Latitude build the future of AI powered games. You will identify and build creative ways to maximize the lifetime value of our players by diving deep into user data and leveraging best in class acquisition, engagement, and monetization practices to power an entirely new genre of experiences. We need a disciplined person who is excited about the future of AI powered experiences and has experience building and growing consumer experiences and especially games.

This role will report directly to the VP of Product.


ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Type: Full-time, Flexible hours

Location: 100% Remote

Salary: 120k - 140k (by skills and experience, not location)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own cross-platform game product management for AI Dungeon and drive towards quarterly objectives and key results.
  • Work closely with the AI Dungeon team to identify, test, and measure product change hypotheses that drive growth in activation, retention, and revenue.
  • Measure the success of product features and optimize their performance through AB testing.
  • Work with the development team to define, prioritize, and execute on the product roadmap to further the strategic vision of the product.
  • Leverage quantitative user analytics, qualitative user data, and other metrics to monitor KPI performance and identify and prioritize development that increase value.
  • Ensure that game development is built and optimized for increased activation, retention and sustained engagement.
  • Research trends in our game regarding player behavior, ask thought-provoking questions, and identify opportunities to level up our own products and influence the product roadmap.
  • Effectively communicate relevant KPI, product updates, and performance issues to leadership in a timely manner.

SUCCESS CRITERIA

After a year a successful Product Manager will have:

  • Leveraged quantitative and qualitative data to derive key user insights that help to drive KPI improvements.
  • Turned data insights into testable hypotheses that can be rapidly tested to prove improved metric performance.
  • Significantly improved user funnel conversion rates.
  • Scaled AI Dungeon revenue by at least 2X in the next year by driving increased activation, retention, and monetization of users. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Must be passionate about games and excited about building the future of AI powered experiences.
  • 4+ years experience as a PM on a successful free-to-play consumer experience.
  • Experience shipping iteratively and frequently in an agile environment.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Thrives in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with SQL / data analytics methods or desire to learn.
  • Expert understanding of feature designs and why they drive desirable behavioral outcomes.
  • Experience working with technical teams to design, implement and evaluate product features.
  • Ability to effectively build and manage remote teams.
  • Proactive self-starter with experience managing projects without needing significant oversight. 
  • Highly analytical, able to clearly communicate “why” instead of just the “how” and the “what” to drive execution
  • Able to clearly communicate product hypotheses and create plans to rapidly test them.
  • Great attention to detail along with the ability to understand and prioritize within the bigger picture.
  • Experience hitting target KPIs on a live game and able to identify obstacles and work through solutions to drive KPI improvements.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills…seriously, we need you to write well. 
  • Excellent business judgment and the ability to work with cross functional roles.
  • Very strong work ethic multitasking, prioritize and follow through on numerous projects simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Experience with mobile games.
  • Experience with consumer subscription monetization.
  • Experience working closely with game communities.
  • B.S. in Computer Science or software development experience.
