Position Summary

The Product Manager role is responsible for analyzing the current state of our products and the market's needs, implementing a thoughtful product strategy, and ensuring organizational alignment for our highest priority initiatives. This role will provide day-to-day direction to development, marketing, and customer support. As an innovation leader at Offerpad, the Product Manager will introduce new and transformational concepts and establish and monitor metrics to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.

Essential Functions

• Develop, articulate, and document a vision and objectives for our products
• Ensure on-budget and on-time delivery of initiatives
• Bring customer and competitive knowledge to the Product Team and the organization, and leverage research to provide actionable insights
• Lead Core Teams consisting of a product owner, a product sponsor, UX/UI designers, developers, a tech lead, and a quality engineer
• Build organizational understanding of products, markets, and trends including identification of potential technologies, best practices, competitive analysis, and strategic partners
• Manage both internal (operational) and external (customer-facing) products
• Develop product requirements that can be easily translated into effective products and features for internal and external audiences
• Partner with Marketing to create consistent messaging and ensure appropriate positioning and visibility for your features and products
• Collaborate with departments and teams to execute go-to-market and operationalization plans
• Deliver thorough, insightful, and innovative plans to ensure the executive team understands product opportunities, costs, and tradeoffs
• Initiate and manage relationships with external providers

Experience and Skills

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of Product Management in a SaaS-based environment
• Track record of owning and delivering on both large strategic projects and smaller tactical projects
• Experience with key product management functions, including: writing requirements/user stories; creating mocks/wireframes/prototypes; market research and consumer insights; competitive analysis; product planning; and reporting
• Ability to see the big picture and manage the details
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good understanding of the current technology landscape
• High EQ and the ability to build consensus across various groups and levels to drive results
• Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts
• Identify opportunities for tests and measure outcomes
• Strong leadership skills and effective at managing in all directions, including staff and executive management

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain expertise in residential real estate
• Experience with B2C products a plus
• Experience with early stage companies a plus
