Job Description

As a Product Manager at Corcentric, you will join a fun, collaborative team within an ambitious, entrepreneurial global organization. You will drive the strategy, design, and maintenance of key modules and capability sets in our flagship SaaS solution, working as part of a product management team, focusing on improving the overall user experience while maintaining a leading position in the market.

This key position reports to the VP, Product Management, within our Downstream Source-to-Pay (S2P) team, and partners closely with development, professional services, support, sales, and other internal cross-functional teams as well as customers and company business partners. Your area of focus will be procure-to-pay (P2P) and core platform features of Corcentric's flagship product for corporate purchasing and accounts payable business processes targeted towards mid-market and Fortune 1000 companies. We're a dedicated, down-to-earth group in a growing organization offering plenty of opportunity. We look forward to adding you into the mix!

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for:
  • Guiding the design, development, maintenance, and presentation of the procure-to-pay process business as enabled in our solution: requisition, purchase order, receipt, and invoice
  • Understanding customer needs and driving the evolution of the product by translating business requirements into software product functionality
  • Creating, refining, prioritizing and maintaining the product requirements backlog and product roadmaps
  • Developing detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications, queries, and architecture for each part of the procure to pay process
  • Managing prioritization and trade-offs among Corcentric customers and development resources
  • Engaging with customers and internal stakeholders in developing useful analytics and information for use in the platform
  • Working with the development team on User Interface (UI) design/validation, sprint reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Supporting the creation of materials to educate and train cross functional teams and customers
  • Assisting sales and services teams as the product subject matter expert
  • Maintaining an awareness of current research and best practices in the field of procure to pay product management

Requirements

You'll need to have:
  • Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for a technology company, getting into the weeds and being the go-to expert for the product; alternatively, you'll need extensive experience utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Procure to Pay (P2P) tools in a non-Product role.
  • Passion about dissecting challenges and coming up with solutions, with an innate sense of curiosity
  • A very strong ability to analyze and synthesize complex topics, to simplify and organize for others
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A degree in technical or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Flexibility to travel from time to time for team and/or customer meetings

(We want to make sure you're set up to succeed, and we view these as the critical skills you'll need to achieve great things at Corcentric!)

It's great if you also have:
  • Technical familiarity, including understanding of coding and IT standards
  • Jira/Confluence experience
  • Experience with JavaScript or PHP
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with source to pay, payment, or invoicing processes, contract lifecycle management, catalog management, B2B commerce or sourcing software/services, or an ERP platform

(PsstDon't worry if you don't check all these boxeswe view this as helpful experience that can shorten ramp-up time!)

Benefits

At Corcentric, we know that the hard work of our employees is what drives the success of our organization. We care about who you are and what you value, both inside and outside of work.

Within our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with smart, collaborative team members and approachable leaders. Our down-to-earth, solutions-oriented culture means you'll have the opportunity to get hands-on with interesting work projects and be able to draw a short line from your contributions to business impacts. We prioritize professional development and encourage cross-functional promotional opportunities to enable you to reach your career goals. We have been in business for over 25 years and are thrilled to be actively growing and scaling our teams accordingly - it's an exciting environment and a great time to join.

We also recognize the importance of work-life balance; you have personal priorities, passions, and goals you're pursuing, independent of your day job. In support of this, we are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to our full-time team members, including paid time off, health insurance programs available from the first of the month following your start date (no extended waiting period to be eligible), paid maternity leave, company-paid disability & life insurance, and a 401k program.

Our roles require routine use of standard office equipment, such as computers, keyboards, printers, phones, and filing cabinets. You may need to type, reach, and lift office materials of a reasonable weight. Travel may also be required based on job responsibilities and business needs.
