Product Manager

About the Job:

We are seeking a developer-focused Product Manager to empower software teams around the world to use LaunchDarkly to create their best work. To manage features in real-time, LaunchDarkly is embedded in our customers' code and interacts with other tools in their development ecosystem. We need to ensure that LaunchDarkly integrates with their toolkit well to match developers' high expectations, both from a code and a process vantage point.

You'll own the strategy and execution of integrations between LaunchDarkly's platform and key third-party services such as Slack, Jira, GitHub, and CircleCI. We're looking for someone who enjoys putting valuable features in front of customers and takes pride in the quality of their work.​ You should have strong convictions about what makes a great developer product, and care deeply about the development tools and processes we all depend on.

You've worked with diligent software teams and recognize the processes and tools that help them get there. You'll develop a vision of how LaunchDarkly can fit into development processes and enable those teams to move faster than ever before.

What you'll get to do: 

• Drive the product vision to expand the LaunchDarkly platform by integrating it with key third-party services.

• Own the vision behind our Integration Framework which is a set of APIs that support 3rd parties developing integrations into LaunchDarkly

• Set clear goals and metrics for the team and be held accountable to achieving them. Efficiently execute to ship features that deliver impact for our business and customers.

• Prioritize a roadmap that balances feature delivery, operational health, and bug fixing.

• Define new integrations as well as expand existing integrations by working closely with revenue, ecosystem, partnerships, and other teams.

• Collaborate with the Engineering and Design teams to craft and translate user needs into features that will delight developers.

• Ensure that the Integrations we build, the documentation we write, and the APIs we release are the best you've ever worked with.

• Work with Marketing and Sales to craft compelling messaging about the impact of our platform, products, and features – specifically for software developers.

• Inspire your team to deliver while keeping them motivated, empowered, growing and happy.

On day one, you should have:

• Strong convictions about developer tools from APIs to documentation.

• An understanding of modern software development lifecycles including common tools, processes, and bottlenecks

• Experience delivering new features from concept to launch.

• A passion for improving the lives and work of software developers around the world.

• (Bonus) Hands-on software development experience on a professional team at some point in your career.
