Bioskyrb Genomics is a biotechnology company headquartered in Durham, NC. We develop advanced technology products that enhance next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows in both the research and clinical space, using our proprietary genome amplification system. BioSkyrb makes this breakthrough technology available to customers in the form of consumable kits and libraries, informatics software, and related services.
Bioskryb’s core technology enables even coverage of the entire genome during DNA amplification and allows for unparalleled accuracy and uniformity in DNA sequence coverage and base calling. We believe our technology will enable a new generation of single cell and low nucleic acid multiomics applications in diverse market focus areas like cancer genomics, bacterial genomics, and inherited disease genomics.
BioSkryb Genomics is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our exciting, fast-growing organization to manage our on-market product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
• Manage on-market ResolveDNA and ResolveOME “core” products to drive uptake andÂ
 growth; manage product life cycle, enhancements, develop requirements, positioning
 and provide sales support.
• Drive product & market strategy for single-cell genomic & multiomic Discovery research
 and Cell & Gene Therapy markets.
• Conduct diligent market research and voice of customer surveys/interviews to makeÂ
 informed strategic and tactical decisions.
• Develop product roadmaps with milestones and deliverables.
• Interface with manufacturing, operations, quality and planning to ensure product supplyÂ
 and performance to meet customer expectations.
• Assess market needs and gaps, opportunities and trends, and competitive landscape forÂ
 the defined portfolio.
• Maintain a constant review process to evaluate opportunities for productÂ
 enhancements and cost reduction strategies.
• Provide short and long-term demand forecasts for assigned products.
• Serve as a primary customer advocate during product development; define marketÂ
 requirements and drive tradeoff decisions.
• Partner with Marketing teams to provide guidance, input, and support for launchÂ
 strategy and plans.
• Develop & deliver content for technical & sales training.
• Contribute to long-term business strategy, including emerging applications.
• Contribute to the development of new product proposals and business cases.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of managing and growing an on-market product portfolio.
• Experience conceptualizing and pitching new products through to NPI process
 management and successful product launch.
• Knowledge of NGS assays and workflows, with a focus on single cell multiomics
• Experience developing and implementing strategic product plans.
• Skilled in working with different business functions and effectively coordinating theirÂ
 activities to achieve desired results.
• Experience conducting market research, survey analysis, voice of customer and otherÂ
 foundational marketing and product management activities.
• Exceptional time and project management skills and ability to independently prioritizeÂ
 competing requests.
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functionalÂ
 teams and third parties.
• Must thrive in a dynamic role and be very self-motivated and independent.
• Prior single-cell and cell and gene therapy market experience are highly preferred.
Experience/Education:
• BA/BS in a scientific discipline, MBA preferred.
• Experience managing life science products and services in a related field.
• Experience managing NGS products highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or technical productÂ
 management within the life sciences field.
• Ability to travel 25% on average
