What you will do:
This position operates under general direction and is responsible for supporting the residential and light commercial HVAC repair parts and related products business across North America, including sales reporting and analysis, costing and pricing, marketing research, product strategy development and execution, and customer and sales support activities. In addition to these and other activities in support of all repair parts product lines, it will include primary responsibility for developing and publishing cross-reference linkages to competitors' repair parts.
How you will do it:
Conduct marketing and competitive research. Develop and maintain broad understanding of Ducted Systems' and competitors' repair parts and related products offerings, as well as current and future customer requirements. Participate in development and implementation of product and customer/market/channel strategies. Measure and monitor market share trends for key product categories. Gather and analyze data for regular and ad hoc sales reporting and analysis. Develop materials and methods for sales support, technical training, and marketing communications. Collaborate with equipment sales, design, and product management teams on crossover and related products. Develop and publish cross-reference linkages to competitors' repair parts Provide customer and sales support. Limited travel (up to 10%) may be required. Other duties may be assigned.
What we look for:
Required:
BS/BA degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum two years of HVAC related experience in engineering, product management, sales and marketing, or technical support.
Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact professionally with suppliers, customers, and colleagues at all levels, even in difficult situations.
Strong analytical abilities. Technically savvy and motivated to grow knowledge of products, channels, and customers.
Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
Preferred:
Parts and supplies and two-step distribution experience preferred.
Familiarity with PowerBI and with SAP material master preferred.
Technical degree preferred.
