Position Overview

Electra Vehicles is seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Manager with a strong focus on product strategy, roadmap planning, and product requirement documentation. This role is crucial in defining and executing the product vision. The Product Manager will synthesize input from engineering, marketing, sales, executive leadership, corporate strategy, and market trends to ensure alignment with customer needs. You will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our innovative software solutions for electric battery optimization. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the product development and success of Electra Vehicles!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
• Translate product roadmap into detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) and specifications to meet customer and market needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales to drive product development from concept to launch.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify product innovation and improvement opportunities.
• Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs are central to the product development process.
• Monitor product performance and gather feedback to continuously improve and optimize product offerings.
• Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager working with intelligent software products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully owning the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap planning, and writing detailed product requirement documents.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and requirements to diverse audiences.

Nice to haves

• Experience working in, or adjacent to, the automotive industry.
• Experience working with battery technologies.
