Product Manager

Scythe Robotics is looking for a Software Product Manager to help build a rich software ecosystem and play a key role in bringing the things "beyond the bot" to life. As a SW Product Manager you will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

As a SW Product Manager we expect you to be broadly experienced to be able to “see around corners”, to thrive in a fast-paced, self-managed engineering environment, and to be a collaborative, low-ego teammate who helps Scythe realize its big mission by ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.

What you’ll do at Scythe  

• Work with customers, field operators, and engineering to understand product needs and constraints.
• Manage and status the user stories used to drive development of outstanding product market fit across all customer touch-points including.
• Develop MRDs/PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Drive alignment on product strategy and roadmap.
• Be point of contact for triaging incoming feature requests from beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
• Participate in de-conflicting competing priorities.

• Be an expert in SW development lifecycle and NPI
• How to drive consensus and alignment across a variety of types stakeholders
• Be an expert with respect to the competition

What you’ve maybe done

• 3-5 years experience as a Product Manager for a web or other HW-connected SW product(s)
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or demonstrated technical proficiency in a professional environment
• Proven ability to guide and drive cross-functional teams without formal authority

Scythe is a total compensation company, which provides employees a comprehensive salary, equity, and benefit package. However, only the minimum salary amounts are listed here. Scythe carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including education, years of experience, competencies and other relevant business considerations. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary along with your compensation mode preferences. The Software Product Manager position has an expected minimum annual cash salary of $120,000. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Equity and benefits packages are NOT included in this estimate. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.
