Product Manager

Introduction
We are seeking a skilled results-driven Product Management leader to manage a team of product managers focused on product-led-growth (PLG) efforts and go-to-market (GTM) activities across multiple products including API Connect App Connect Aspera MQ Event Automation Sterling Data Exchange Engineering Lifecycle Management and webMethods (product from recent acquisition). These products span both Application Modernization/Integration and Sustainability portfolios. The successful candidate is an inspiring leader effective communicator and creative problem solver.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Product Managers to successfully achieve business objectives.
• Prioritize develop and execute product-led growth and go-to-market plans.
• Plan package and launch digital capabilities into the market to drive product previews and product-qualified leads.
• Work with customers and business partners to promote product capabilities understand pain points and support partner driven lead generation activities.
• Conduct market research competitive analysis and customer interviews to inform product strategy.

• Collaborate with marketing leaders to optimize the digital journey for prospective customers in order to convert a high percentage of them to paying customers.
• Collaborate with digital sales and enablement leaders to optimize early-stage sales interactions with prospects to ensure they receive knowledgeable follow-up and fast access to demo opportunities once qualified.
• Collaborate with development and design leaders to build and continuously improve product trials instrument products for usage tracking and continually analyze usage data for insights and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with customer success leaders to optimize onboarding and the overall digital experience of working with IBM.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
5+ years experience in each of the following:

• Product management product marketing or other customer-facing roles
• Ability to lead teams to achieve business objectives
• Excellent written communication skills
• Experience working directly with customers and sales teams
• Interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and business focals
• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to self-manage prioritize and move forward in the face of ambiguity
• Confident and engaging speaker with the ability to influence others

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience managing a team of direct reports
• Experience with PLG GTM SaaS Application Integration iPaaS B2B Integration APIs AI
• Experience with product instrumentation for usage tracking
• Excellent mentor
