Summary of the Position:

Onapsis is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Functional Product Manager to support our Product Management Team. This role will be part of the team responsible for leading and managing the product and development process, this role will have a focus on SAP and Cybersecurity and requires the PM to understand the technical landscape of this market and have the communication skills to understand market needs of customers.

This role includes working with cross-functional teams throughout the organization and will be an active participant in product planning, roadmap development and life cycle management, pricing, and forecasting of Business-Critical Applications’ security. Therefore, we need a good communicator that can speak to both clients and Engineering teams alike.

The right candidate will be results-oriented, self-driven, and have the ability to successfully prioritize and execute many detailed tasks at any given time.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Translate product roadmap (provided by product manager) to specific features
• Working with engineering teams to
• Provide detailed definitions of those product roadmap features
• Answer questions/ provide clarification to ensure roadmap features are properly understood
• Ensure features are accurately estimated
• As features near release work alongside the product manager to ensure market/customer facing teams are ready to communicate the value of the new features
• Participate in customer roadmap review calls
• Prioritizes feature backlog to ensure that the development teams have clear visibility on what they should work on next.
• Attend relevant engineering meetings to ensure that development work is aligned with the roadmap set by the product manager
• Communicates the voice of the customer to the development team.
• Provides updates on the roadmap execution to the product manager and other stakeholders
• Ensures product management software (aha.io) accurately represents the current state of the roadmap and development progress against the roadmap
• Assist in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, market and consumer research.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers
• Working with account management and support teams to ensure a coordinated and effective response for customers who experience issues
• Working closely with engineering, research, and quality to deliver successful features within committed timeframes
• Develop knowledge of products, market/industry trends, and consumer needs through ongoing research.
• Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of products, market/industry trends, and consumer needs through ongoing research.

Required Skills:

• 3 years of experience being responsible for a product and managing structured development processes and product development research
• A proven track record of leading projects involving cross-functional teams that successfully achieve stated milestones and complete deliverables
• Has worked for Enterprise size and small size company
• Strong analytical skills

Desired Skills

• Have experience with SAP ERP projects
• Experience in working with security research labs
• Experience working with product and engineering tools such as JIRA and AHA
