Product Manager

Discover NIGHT is the leader in beauty textiles. Our mission is to harvest the power of textiles for all your beauty and wellness needs. We use intelligent and natural materials such as couture grade silk, chemical free cooling rayon and vegan satins to create innovative beauty textile products. We spend a lot of time thinking about our products and all the solutions that they can provide from beauty, sleep, hair, skin, wellness and sustainability; and we're just getting started. We're building a fully remote team with a NYC and Raleigh Durham presence.

We're seeking a Product Manager to join our growing team driving our product strategy and new product development. You'll have a pulse on the competitive landscape and deeply understand our customers in order to create innovative new features, capabilities and brand new innovative product lines. working with both internal teams and external contract manufacturers in China. This position is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented individual who has a strong understanding of the home textiles market within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle, from initial concept, product development, to launch and post-launch analysis
• Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, aligning with company objectives and market demand
• Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to make informed product decisions and modifications for revenue generation
• Collaborate with internal teams on the recommendation and selection of cost and price of goods to maintain a healthy margin
• Establish pricing strategies and guidelines for product development
• Provide support for marketing collateral, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, trade shows and other promotional activities; conduct product training to sales team
• Collaborate with and source new vendors to ensure products are developed to specification, meet quality standards, and are delivered on time
• Propose strategy and execute tactics to protect and/or grow market share

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager in CPG with specific experience in home textiles
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Textiles, or related field
• Strong knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in textile manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of import regulations and procedures
• Ability to travel internationally
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work with a high sense of urgency
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain flexibility and adapt to changing business requirements
• Ability to drive new policies and procedures for a rapidly growing company in a collaborative way
• Strong judgment, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
