Product Manager

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, highly organized, people-focused individual and tech-savvy professional. We are expecting you to be experienced working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, in order to;

• Seek to understand deeply how our product works and how it serves our users
• Understand our business model and key drivers and be able to identify where there are opportunities for improvement or risks to be mitigated
• Review and synthesize multiple data sources in order to develop one view of the truth and identify actionable insights for product performance
• Partner with other stakeholder teams across business units (i.e., sales, finance, marketing, product & engineering) to develop necessary analysis in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with managerial, and executive teams
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate product requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes, including the delivery of monthly status reports to all appropriate parties
• Seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for solution definition and delivery for new or existing products, based on strategy and needs as defined by product leadership
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams driving an innovative product vision that address competitor strengths and weaknesses
• Creates and documents feature requirements based on market problems rather than proposed solutions
• Manages product release schedule, prioritizes product opportunities and backlog

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a BSA, Product Owner, or Product Manager
• 3 years of experience as a team member on technology-based projects.
• Knowledge of sunset and migration plans for old and new products
• Knowledge of scrum or other agile methodologies
• Knowledge of Jira, Rally, or other SaaS tracking tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Superior presentation and negotiation skills
• Proven management and organizational skills
• High energy, driven and motivated to succeed
• Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments
• In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
• Driven, able to effectively self-manage your work, creative with your approach and able to balance delivering results with learning and self-improvement.

*This will be a hybrid role which will require up to 3 days in the office.
