Product Manager

Introduction
We are seeking a results-driven Product Manager to join our IBM Integration Software team to help accelerate our product-led growth initiatives. The successful candidate is an energetic self-starter with the technical and business skills who can analyze digital funnel and trial usage data and collaborate across teams to accelerate usage and growth. In this role focus is on our Event Automation product which is part of our iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) offerings.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Product Manager in IBM Integration you will…..

• Collaborate effectively with other product managers and members of cross-functional teams including design development support sales services and business partners.
• Stay up-to-date on Integration industry trends and best practices
• Coordinate new product / new feature launch promotion activities
• Script and record multimedia and interactive product demos
• Launch and accelerate adoption of free trials
• Create and promote product-related and thought leadership content via blog posts
• Craft use case specific stories and scripts that enable others to articulate product value
• Host webinars both for sales and partner enablement and for virtual customer advisory sessions
• Plan and host user groups across multiple locations globally
• Conduct market research competitive analysis and client interviews
• Coordinate product instrumentation track usage milestones and automate key action triggers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2+years experience in product management or product marketing for SaaS products
• Experience with Product Led Growth tactics and strategies
• Ability to self-manage prioritize and move forward in the face of ambiguity
• Technical aptitude to learn tools such as those used to track product usage
• Experience creating multi-media demos tutorials quick assets; including video recordings with components such as screen share voice over and picture-in-picture
• Technical skills to learn our products and be able to demonstrate the value
• Speaking skills to present or record high quality client-facing content such as webinars
• Ability to craft stories for targeted use cases and personas
• Writing skills to turn stories into compelling content or scripts that can be used by others
• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
• A growth mindset

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• iPaaS related product experience strongly preferred
• Experience with middleware software products helpful
• eCommerce SaaS product experience preferred
• Experience with Segment or similar software for product usage tracking helpful
• Salesforce CRM experience preferred
