Product Manager

As the Product Manager, you will be an integral team member for establishing and driving the product strategy for eClinical Solutions innovative elluminate platform. elluminate is a next generation data integration and analytics cloud platform that enables life sciences organizations to optimize the aggregation, standardization, and analysis of their data throughout the clinical development life cycle.

Your day to day:

• Be the product evangelist externally, in front of customers and prospects, and internally, to engineering, sales, and product support
• Be hands-on from market and competitive analysis to wireframes, to requirements, to functional design
• Communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates
• Keep up with the latest software and industry trends
• Provide second-tier customer support for product-related questions and enhancement requests
• Ability to come up with simple, elegant solutions to hard business problems
• Self-driven and results-oriented, bringing a strong industry knowledge together with a customer-focused mindset to build great products
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases, adhering to Agile methodologies and best practices
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery
• Responsible for managing the development, enhancement, and lifecycle of our product offerings, ensuring that they align with our strategic goals and deliver exceptional value to our customers
• Manage the product backlog, define, and prioritize product feature enhancements based on customer feedback, and track progress against key milestones
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, user needs, and opportunities for product innovation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Human Factors, User Experience Design, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, or Data Science preferred
• 3+ years experience in product management, preferably in the healthcare or healthcare IT industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and agile frameworks (e.g., DevOps, Scrum, Kanban)
• Expertise in delivering aggressive project deliverables while effectively managing stakeholder expectations
• Ability to manage remote project delivery teams and facilitate technical and service problem management to resolve implementation issues and remove barriers to project success
• Fully competent in product management tools and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle
• Experience working in regulated industries such as medical, biotech, and building products and services for these industries
• Experience working with EDC or other clinical trial systems
• Experience working as a data manager or in the clinical trial field is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira and product board
• Experience in software development and improving operational efficiencies
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple organizations, mitigating risks, and managing competing priorities
• Proven independent, critical thinking to navigate ambiguity and find detailed solutions
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced tech company and collaborate effectively with teams on different operating cadences
