Why We Need You:
Come join our dynamic Product team as we execute product initiatives using technology to make a difference! In this role, you will be responsible for delivering product strategies that offer high customer value and optimize profitable growth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work closely with, mentor Product Analysts and business partners.
- Work effectively with internal and external teams and business partners to implement product initiatives and effect product changes.
- Responsible for profit/loss and growth and forecasting and budgeting key metrics for assigned product line(s).
- Influence and educate partners at all levels in key functions regarding product changes.
- Effectively supervise employees, as assigned.
- Develop and maintain product line(s) to meet consumer needs - perform pricing analysis and make pricing selects; responsible for the regulatory filing strategy; ensure assigned products comply with state regulations and statutes.
- Determine and actively manage 2-5-year strategic product plans.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of ethics and business conduct.
- Authentically support the PEMCO Brand and constantly are on the lookout for top talent to join us to achieve our Mission to Worry Less and Live More.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- 5 years of experience in comparable role, including demonstrated command of product management principles is required
- Graduate or other professional degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of market and key competitors; determine policy and coverage language strategy; influence underwriting strategy and guidelines
- Prior leadership experience or demonstrated leadership ability
- Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from AICPCU/IIA; Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC); Property/Casualty License
- Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is required
- Thinks analytically; a structured thinker who can put complex ideas into clear frameworks; uses data to conduct root cause analysis and develops high quality, consumable, and consistent metrics that drive strategic objectives and priorities is required
- Has a thorough understanding of our industry, the relevant business landscape, and trends in growth and insurance environments; can spot early indicators of change and apply strategies to adapt quickly is required
- Has a proven track record of driving and motivating cross-functional team members to successfully implement technology or business projects
