We have big plans for our Product team. We’re growing quickly, yet remain focused on crafting an incredible experience for our teams and clients. 


As a Product Manager...

You’ll work closely with our Product leadership and the Product team pushing outcomes, adding new features, and discovering new opportunities for our clients in the EdTech market. You will contribute to product strategy by mapping business goals, understanding clients' needs, and communicating with teams inside Apptegy. You'll work closely with engineering in a fast-moving, dynamic, “get stuff done” culture where we prioritize progress over perfection and empower our people to do their jobs.


Things you will do:

- Contribute and drive forward the Apptegy product vision and the company’s vision.

- Develop a deep understanding of customers through data analysis and customer interviews.

- Discover and prioritize product opportunities based on business goals, client data, and product KPIs.

- Write detailed product requirements, and release documents to guide the development process; partner with designers and developers to create user-friendly and visually appealing products that meet the needs of our users and clients.

- Drive product development – from conception to launch – of the products and features you are accountable for, including complex “0 to 1” new platform capabilities.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to prioritize features and deliver high-quality products on time.

- Be an advocate for product quality and gain a deep understanding of the technology to better relate to engineering points of view, understand when to push back, and assess the impact of requests.

- Deeply understand the market landscape, competitors, and trends that can impact your products and Apptegy as a whole.

- Work towards building a strong product culture where your team understands the importance of continuous testing and learning, leveraging data and customer feedback to come up with actionable insights and drive business performance.

 

What is true of you?

- 3-5 years of experience in a Product Manager/ Product Owner role.

- Ability to work in a startup or fast-paced and agile development environment (Jira or similar issue-tracking software is a plus).

- A proven record of executing and delivering products/features for both web and mobile from conception to launch collaboratively with engineering and designers is a must (technical knowledge is a plus).

- Ability to design and pivot product strategy based on market trends, client data, technical trade-offs, and company goals.

- Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.

- Strong analytical and communication skills: Ability to interpret large amounts of data and drive product success (knowing SQL is a plus).

- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on understanding and meeting the needs of our users, with the ability to translate user feedback into actionable insights.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading engineers, designers, and products to successful outcomes.

- Ability to build strong, trusting relationships across multiple stakeholders while navigating the added complexity of working with multiple offices in different countries.

- Experience working with B2B products/industries, having direct contact with business customers, understanding their needs, and pain points, and aligning an action plan with them (experience in the EdTech ecosystem is a plus).

- Passionately curious, willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
