This position is part of the Protein Business Unit located in Madison, WI and will be onsite. At Aldevron, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the Product Management and Strategy Team and report to the Director of Product Strategy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Accountable for driving top and bottom-line financial results meeting or exceeding expectations for assigned product/service line, to include tracking and reporting on identified KPIs.
  • Drive pre- and post-launch New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Operations, and Commercial) to deliver committed results on time and within budget, and escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Own tactical aspects of lifecycle management, including driving performance via action-oriented planning, informing pricing & discounting policies, and working cross-functionally to assess necessity for product evolution or discontinuation.
  • Serve as product/service expert and technical resource to all stakeholders by developing and leading training, informing marketing initiatives, and building followership and buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Continually evaluate product performance, gather customer insights, and track key metrics through data analysis to identify opportunities for new or improved products or innovation to deliver superior value and differentiation.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or equivalent degree required
  • 5+ years' experience in sales, marketing, or product management in the life sciences industry or related.
  • Strong technical background in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or Cell and Gene Therapy required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Proven success delivering products/services that are innovative, client-centric, and have met or exceeded business goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently with a solution-oriented mindset.
