The Digital Workplace (DW) organization is responsible for making Amex one of the world's best places to work. Tools being predictive, personalized, and easy-to-use drives and enables seamless and integrated technology experiences for all colleagues. The team supports a portfolio of communications, collaboration, and productivity tools on desktop and mobile in American Express's offices around the world and in colleagues' home environments.

The Colleague Tech Enablement team is responsible for launching internally built or partner sourced products and services that support the team vision. To support the product development process, you will ensure our teams and priorities tightly align to the strategic objectives of the Technology organization. Through collaboration and partnership with our broader team and internal & external stakeholders, the Program Manager will be the point of contact for ensuring an organized portfolio of work is delivered by Go to Market and UX, keeping track of status, risks & issues while also helping respond to and manage a broad range deliverables.

  • Works with customers, key partners, and colleagues to define a product marketing vision and strategy that is aligned with the overall DW product roadmap
  • Overall responsibility and ownership for developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy for new and existing Digital Workplace products
  • Utilizes expertise and ongoing market research to identify & apply the most relevant marketing method/s for campaigns and target audiences
  • Uncovers opportunities to gather colleague feedback and leverage this to continually improve effectiveness of the marketing strategy
  • Understands and applies new trends and market standard methodologies
  • Communicates and build consensus across DW & non-DW disciplines to understand product roadmaps and crafting an appropriate and relevant marketing strategy
  • Leads the work to define and articulate a long-term product strategy and roadmap with clearly defined business metrics and targets
  • Identifies, defines, tracks and publishes success metrics to accurately track and report the impact and effectiveness of the marketing strategy, while exposing opportunities for automate
  • Enable and drive cross-functional collaboration with relevant teams within the product marketing scope
  • Prioritizes and maintains the ongoing marketing backlog consistent aligned to organizational outcomes and product roadmaps
  • Partners with the wider Colleague Tech Enablement team to align on strategy and rapidly iterate new solutions when appropriate
  • Develops and maintains backlog and stories aligned to the product marketing strategy and wider CTE backlog
  • Reviews/demonstrates deliverables and/or proposals with external partners and customers, including the Director of Product Management and other colleagues
  • Coordinates communications, leveraging appropriate channels & stakeholders while also facilitating risk resolution, issues management and changes tied to the product marketing backlog

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management with proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product vision and strategy
  • Proven track record managing large, complex features or products with multiple partners

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
