Product Manager

Landis is a homeownership company taking on the housing affordability crisis. Our mission is to guide people on their unique path to homeownership, and we do this through a coaching app and a holistic homeownership program where we buy a home for a client and rent it to them while we help them prepare for a mortgage. Landis is seeking a talented Product Manager to join our growing Product team. Our team values individuals who strive every day to find ways to improve the path to buying a home.  This mission requires a focus on the data behind the journey and empathy towards the client at each step.   Each future Home Owners is different. The Home owner’s circumstances and backgrounds play a critical role in his or her journey to own a home.   As a Landis Product Manager, you will use data and empathy to innovate the Home Owner’s journey.

The Landis Engineering, Product, and Design team works very closely together.  The Product Manager will have the ability to communicate clearly, work to define goals for success, and execute on those goals.    

Where you will make an impact:                                         

Once a home-owner has moved, Landis continues working with the client to make them a home owner.  The Landis renter-to-homeowner program is dedicated to helping the client learn the financials skills to own the house of their dreams in a sustainable way.

What you’ll do at Landis:

• Understand the needs of your client by creating data driven solutions that are grounded with empathy
• Bring everyone along with you, learn from their input, accept challenges, iterate continuously with data, & deliver big results together. You are always inclusive in your product development, and teamwork is essential to you
• Think in terms of the big picture, but deliver on the detail
• Turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
• Own a roadmap that successfully navigates tradeoffs to create momentum and a cadence of high-quality delivery & adoption
• Develop and maintain KPIs and metrics of success that are communicated and understandable by various levels of stakeholders throughout the organization

Your background includes:

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
• Building client facing applications & measuring user experience
• Developing inclusive product development life cycle processes
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• A high focus to detail, ability to balance the high level
• An action-oriented disposition with a passion for learning, and self-motivated
