Product Manager

Trane Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our Thermo King Americas Business Unit! This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Minneapolis, MN location. This Product Manager will have ownership for share growth, margin expansion, and cash generation for parts and accessories sold through our Dealer channel. Our ideal candidate will have solid P&L ownership, lifecycle ownership and e-commerce experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Bus service part and accessory product categories throughout product life cycle, with full responsibility for pricing, forecasting, marketing, and end of product life
• Drive revenue growth in the Air Purification product category through rapid NPD, accessory offerings, and channel development across adjacent markets
• Identify market opportunities and prioritizing product and customer requirements for new product development, quality improvement and cost management initiatives
• Define the product category strategy and working cross functionally to deliver winning products
• Develop and leverage financial analytics to deliver profitable growth
• Work closely with vendors/suppliers to identify new opportunities, source innovative new product and/or line extensions and be an expert in the competitive landscape
• Identify growth opportunities through Dealer engagement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical related degree
• Master's degree preferred but not required
• A minimum of 4 years of product management or other relevant experience
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business, trucking industry and technical knowledge preferred
• Must have a strong technical aptitude and the ability to work across different functions, regions, and internal stakeholders
• Strong financial acumen is required
• Be able to perform effectively as a team member and be able to work independently in the pursuit of company objectives

Base Compensation Range is $81,500 to $140,000. Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base salary range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
