Product Manager

Do you have the next big digital idea to advance customers' experience with Alcon? The Advancing Customer Experience team is looking for a Product Manager to help us in the pursuit of creating a digital product that continuously improves our relationship with Alcon customers, consumers and sales associates. The focus of this team is user experience. We don't just build what we're asked to build, we look into why we're being asked to build it to make sure we're solving the right problems. We love out-of-the-box ideas and questioning the norm.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Global Product Director, Global Product Experience Manager, and other Product Managers to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value of their feature set
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and act as business/technical SME
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to coordinate translation of user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, 2-3 sprints ahead
• Collaborates with Product Director and designers to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to ensure customer-driven design
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Supply Chain, SAP, Customer Master/ Salesforce & Digital Health Suite/Smart Cataract)
• Reviews and approves test cases and test runs prepared by Test Leads
• Coordinates early estimation of Epics and Stories
• Serves as the day-to-day contact for the engineering team on clarification of requirements
• Supports the Global Product Director in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with the overall product vision
• Approves JIRA ticket demos from engineering
• Preps and gives demos to business along with Global Product Director
• Works closely with the Global Product Director on priorities and day to day decision-making
