We serve front line educators with the only market disrupting open API single record architecture in the greater than $5B EdTech market. To date we have configured and deployed our product at over 1,000 leading private K-12 schools in over 20 countries.

ROLE SUMMARY:

Veracross is seeking a self-motivated, passionate, and highly collaborative Product Manager to join our product team. You will report directly to the SVP of Product Management and will be the product owner for the accounting and tuition management (payment) modules of the company's school management offering. You will be the "product evangelist," working closely with all teams in the company to make sure your products are successful. You will plan and manage product development activities including discovery, product definition, product launch, and post-launch enhancements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as subject matter expert for assigned product and opportunity areas.
  • Act as a full stack product manager, acting as UX/UI designer, technical product manager, sometimes scrum master, strategic product manager, and project manager.
  • Work with other product managers, engineering, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain product roadmaps.
  • Engage closely with the market throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Understand competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Translate product features into customer benefits and work with marketing to develop messaging and positioning for our sales organization and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate product focus throughout entire organization including senior leadership, product development teams, sales, professional services, marketing, etc.
  • Build positive relationships and trust through on-time delivery, high quality, continuous innovation, and exceeding expectations.
  • Track results, provide insights, and make recommendations to improve customer experience, efficiencies, and ROI.


Requirements

  • 3-5+ years in a product management role or related field is required
  • Experience with a payments or an accounting software company is required
  • Experience in bringing a new product to international and domestic market from start to finish
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Business acumen and proficiency with quantitative business analysis techniques
  • Solid understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Can clearly demonstrate high empathy through a proven track record of being an attentive listener, thoroughly grasping customer's needs, and quickly building rapport
  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with a variety of audiences within the organization
  • Experience with project management and software development software like JIRA, Basecamp, Slack, etc.
  • Ability to juggle many moving pieces and strong prioritization ability
  • Flexible team-player who can partner with all functions of the business, getting team members buy in and feedback with ease
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced, high growth environment
