Product Manager, Ads Targeting (keywords)

Reddit is continuing to grow our teams with the best talent. This role is completely remote friendly and will continue to be after the pandemic. 

Reddit is growing quickly, and our Ads Engineering and Product team will double in size in 2022. We are seeking a product leader who can drive the product vision, development, and execution of our Keyword targeting products at Reddit. 

In this role, you will own the Ads product strategy for something that is uniquely Reddit – our long-form text content. You will set the product direction for ML-backed products that understand user affinity and create a taxonomy that categorizes our expansive content. The ideal candidate understands the value that ads can bring to our users, advertisers, and Reddit, helping drive revenue growth through improved ads engagement and a streamlined advertiser experience. You’ll achieve this by working with a core team of Ads Targeting engineers, Data Scientists, and UX designers. 

As an early member of a small product team, you will have significant ownership and responsibility in shaping Reddit’s overall monetization strategy. You have the opportunity to drive the product vision, development, and go-to-market of one of Reddit’s most pivotal products. 

• Drive product vision and execution of Keyword Targeting Products
• Collaborate closely with Engineers, PMs, Data Scientists, UX designers, and Product Marketers to ideate, prioritize, and drive projects through the full product cycle, from proposal, experimentation to eventual launch 
• Draw deep insight from competitive research and emerging industry trends to inform strategy and product decisions
• Define and own a set of KPIs that tracks ads engagement and revenue growth

• At least two years of experience as a Product Manager in shipping impactful B2B or B2C products
• Experience in areas such as ads and content personalization, ranking, search, content understanding, assistants, and more.
• Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution.
• You have excellent analytical sense and have experience driving products & business decisions that involve data analysis and experimentation.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Four years of experience
• Previous Ads product experience
• Familiarity with ML / NLP

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $157,000 - $236,000
