What You'll Bring:
- 10-15 years of experience in product management, product ownership, product analysis, market analysis and / or allied customer facing functions including product marketing, analytics etc.
- Experience working with SAFe / Agile / Scrum work environment as a Product Manager and progressive experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical environments and build professional relationships.
- Quick decision making, with a bias towards action and prudent business judgement.
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multitask
- Bachelor's Degree / Master's degree preferred.
- This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Impact You'll Make:
Product Strategy and Innovation
- Aware of industry trends, competition, key products, and offerings
- Understand market needs for current and future strategy through market research.
- Interpret, propose, and present opportunities for development in collaboration with the Product team including supporting business cases, detailed functional specifications, and executive presentation. Establishes and develops a strategy to successfully introduce and position a product in the market.
- Owns product roadmap and manages lifecycle from concept through strategic planning and tactical implementation.
- Support innovation by collaborating with teams such as UX, Marketing, Legal, Compliance and Technology to drive tactical short-term improvements to the product as well as complex strategic initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Develop analysis around key product success questions; building business cases for tactical and larger-scale enhancements; and define product features with measurable outcomes.
- Ensure product success through communication, training, marketing support and product success metrics.
Product Development
- Oversee feature creation, development, and validation through each stage of the feature development process and drive through SAFe software development lifecycles. Support development teams with features, user stories through PI (Program Increment) Planning, backlog grooming, and all team ceremonies to successfully release new product enhancements on time and within budget.
- Adapt backlog of ready work in response to feature injections, story discovery, and production issue monitoring.
- Initiative management for 5-10-person project teams to meet deliverables inclusive of delegating work, setting clear goals, and managing customer expectations. Oversee change management for rollout for new projects and systems.
- Ensure our initiatives consider critical stakeholder interests for operations, customer service, products, services, and the TransUnion approach to customers, the Credit Reporting Agency industry, and our regulators, and manage ongoing partnerships.
