Product Manager, AI/HPC Systems

Summary

At Meta, the AI Systems and Accelerated Platforms organization comprises the teams responsible for defining, developing, and delivering the compute, storage, and network hardware and software upon which all Meta products and services run. As the Product Manager of AI/HPC Systems, you will be responsible for coordinating across the product management team and partner organizations the definition of efficient and reliable vertically-integrated AI/HPC systems with tightly-coupled compute, storage, and fabric technologies, and related software and infrastructure-enabling technologies, that are optimized for Meta data centers and workloads.In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of technical and non-technical partners to establish a shared vision and strategy for an efficient and extensible platform that unleashes performance and innovation around Meta's existing and future AI-powered services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, data scientists, co-design collaborators, and product designers to drive product definition, launch innovative AI platforms, and analyze metrics that inform the success of the platforms.The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about identifying, delivering and scaling the next generation of AI/HPC systems, and have a proven track record of effectively guiding product teams. You should have experience in analyzing and interpreting data to make informed business decisions, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Product Manager, AI/HPC Systems Responsibilities:

• Establish a shared vision and strategy for vertically-integrated systems that enable efficient and reliable AI infrastructure at industry-leading performance for our workloads.
• Lead the ideation, definition, and launch of innovative AI/HPC systems in areas of significant strategic ambiguity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and deliver AI/HPC platforms that are recognized as best in the industry.
• Identify and initiate opportunities for new projects or focus areas in pursuit of leadership.
• Analyze metrics to inform the success of products and ensure products meet business needs.
• Maintain a detailed understanding of the vendor and competitive landscape and ensure ASAP leaders have an objective point-of-view of commercial options and our position vis-a-vis our contemporaries.
• Uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, and innovation.

Minimum Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or MBA or equivalent practical experience.
• 15+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Strategy, and/or Product Design.
• 15+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering and industry ecosystem teams.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data to make informed business decisions.
• Effective organizational, communication, execution, cross-functional, and collaboration skills.
• Experience analyzing, interpreting, leveraging data, and handling ambiguity to make business decisions

Preferred Qualification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in defining vertically-integrated AI/HPC systems at hyper scale (cloud computing, and distributed systems).
