Product Manager, AI/ML

You will work on the AI capabilities of the Verantos Evidence Platform. Specifically, you will work on AI that enables the generation of high-validity RWE that help innovative biopharma companies and health systems use to advance life sciences research by leveraging our technology and expertise.

Responsibilities

• World-class expertise in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), and related tools.
• Engage with key stakeholders in cross-functional teams. Work closely with engineering, customer success, science, sales, and marketing teams.
• Collaborate with scientific stakeholders – researchers, epidemiologists, biostatisticians – to drive product roadmap, define product requirements, and increase product adoption.
• Collect, rationalize, and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholders to drive product roadmap, groom product backlog, and function as product owner in an agile scrum environment.
• Strong familiarity with JIRA and able to break tasks into epics and stories of appropriate granularity.
• Innovative approach to identifying tools that help speed up the overall model development and deployment process.
• Manage the product release process and develop product launch materials in collaboration with marketing.

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field from a reputed institution.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with advanced AI algorithms and frameworks.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them to AI-powered insights.
• Prior product management experience in an agile development environment with ownership over one or more AI-powered products or components.
• Full B2B product lifecycle experience including having shipped products in current commercial use.
• Experience with data-intensive, enterprise-level applications.

Preferred 

• Advanced degree such as MBA, MS, PhD, MD from a reputed institution.
• Product management experience in healthcare technology companies.
• Prior experience in working with complex healthcare data, including electronic health records, claims, and disease registries.
• Life sciences domain experience, specifically around observational research studies and disease-specific cohorts.
