A day in the life
Under the direction and support of a Sr. Director of Product Management - Enterprise, you will assist in driving the execution of our Product Strategy for our APIs. This includes leading aspects of the agile software development cycle such as backlog grooming, daily scrums, and prioritizationInform product development through market research, data analysis, and insights drawn from current performance metrics and by speaking with customers.Coordinate across internal teams to make sure there is alignment between Product, Design, Engineering, Program Management, Marketing, and OperationsEngage enterprise customers in pre-launch testing and log feedback and bugsAssist in developing and maintaining the Product roadmap Own the API Governance process and ensure that every feature goes through the API governance processEnsure that API Documentation is easy to understand, has example code and is a part of requirementsEmploy industry best practices around DX (Developer Experience) that means developers find consuming and integrating Rocket Lawyer’s API products simple, intuitive and delightful. About you
For this role, ideally you would have: Over 3+ years of software Product Management experience Technology-focused degrees such as Computer Science, Data Engineering, or similarly technical/analytical courseworkKnowledge of designing APIsUnderstanding of API governance and processesExperience with launching external and internal APIsExperience with API tools such as Postman, Apigee etc.Passionate about our missionDemonstrated ability to think critically and problem-solveExcellent communication skillsOwnership mentalityAbility to engage in respectful debate and arrive at “win-win” decisionsBias for actionExcited to celebrate and winSelf-aware with a growth mindsetBenefits & Perks
