Position Summary
As a Homecare Homebase Product Manager, you are on the front lines with customers. In this role, you are responsible for identifying meaningful market problems to solve with data and applied analytics, including clinical and operational decision support, and embedded insights within the HCHB application suite. Applied analytics at HCHB includes automation, reduced reliance on human interactions/decisions, prediction, real-time alerting, anomaly detection, patient risk identification, and more. The goals of these solutions include improved patient outcomes/experience, reduced adverse events, optimized care plans, higher staff retention and productivity, less staff training time, and staff reduction due to automation.

These capabilities can include machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), and other advanced technologies to provide high value products.

Duties
  • Work closely with customers to assess specific market needs for data-driven, applied analytics solutions
  • Analyze the market and competitive dynamics and drive decisions to build/buy/partner
  • Gather and synthesize requirements through market research supported by on-going interactions with customers, subject matter experts, and other Product Managers
  • Execute on the solution for new data-driven applied analytics products and features, partnering with data scientists and the engineering organization to bring them to market
  • Manage the applied analytics roadmap from strategic planning to prioritization and tactical execution
  • Align product strategy with regulatory compliance demands, as well as technology direction, and organizational growth objectives
  • Partner with the engineering team to ensure product roadmap is supported by availability of technical capabilities and data
  • Partner with other Product Managers, whose products may integrate applied analytics solutions
  • Manage the long-term roadmap, involving sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and other groups
  • Evangelize Homecare Homebase products through sales collateral, internal education sessions, customer webinars and documentation, and industry events (virtual and in-person, as appropriate)


Requirements
  • BS in healthcare, technology, or equivalent area
  • 5+ years in software product management within applied analytics space
  • Experience in healthcare technology is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in post-acute Home Health and/or Hospice business is preferred
  • Experience in Agile development principles is preferred
  • Experience with advanced data analytics, including machine learning (ML), and other related technologies is preferred
  • Proven experience documenting and communicating successful software requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to translate complex business and technical processes into plain and unambiguous requirements
  • An ambitious, innovative self-starter with curiosity and passion to deliver great product experiences
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
  • Some domestic travel required
  • Citizenship: Homecare Homebase requires all applicants to be US citizens or have a green card allowing them to work in the US without being subject to export control restrictions
