Product Manager, Automated Liquid Handling
Job Description

This is a key role in managing Automated liquid handling platforms and involves the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Collaborate in identifying the future road map of automated liquid handlers and integrated solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the market, customers, competitors, and vendors.
- Create compelling marketing campaigns, promotions, and collateral to highlight value propositions and differentiation of Agilent automated liquid handling solutions for sample preparation.
- Working in a cross-functional team to align the vision and build momentum across marketing, R&D, finance, manufacturing, and customer support.
- Build business cases for new investment opportunities backed by data-driven forecast models and present them to divisional senior management.
- Improve efficiency and customer experience in alignment with new product initiatives.
A successful product manager requires a strong sense of ownership for their portfolio. You will be encouraged to think boldly, ask questions, and voice your ideas. Flexibility is key in this role.
Qualifications
- B.S. or higher degree in science, business or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in product management, or marketing roles in the life science industry.
- An understanding of automated liquid handling to address various applications in pharma and biopharma space.
- Experience in NGS applications is a plus.
- Customer and market-oriented perspective.
- Demonstrated flexibility as a team player and a proactive approach to perform successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to conduct financial analyses, develop financial models and understand P-L as they relate to the product portfolio.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects and set priorities.
- Experience in developing and launching new products is a plus.
- Knowledge of VWorks software and automated Liquid handling platforms such as Bravo instrument in a sample preparation workflow is a plus.

The US pay range for this full-time position is $115,546.00 - $180,540.00/yr, plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum new hire pay for the position across the relevant US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
