As the Product Manager of Billing & Reporting you will be responsible for product planning activities, including developing product strategy and roadmap as well as authoring product specifications and attending scrum meetings. This role is also responsible for go-to-market activities and materials for all relevant products.

This individual works with cross functional teams including Finance, Technology, Sales, Data Engineering, compliance, Info sec, Implementation, Operations and other product managers to ensure stakeholder requirements are obtained and implemented.  The right candidate will automate billing for various client implementations as well as support streamlined implementations for the various client configurations and products purchased.  This position is an analytical, slightly technical position, and even hands-on in some cases to enable us to scale our client base.

What You Are Accountable For:

  • Manage & prioritize roadmap, partnering with leadership, technology, & sales/customer success
  • Manage enhancements & partner with technology to review backlog, story meets requirements, and ensure accurate and timely delivery while attending scrum meetings
  • Identify and maintain full list of product configurations and implementation details as well as publishing internal documentation
  • Automated generation of billing reports by use case id and client
  • Automated reports for profitability and margin %
  • Responsible for internal client implementation tool to identity ways to streamline client onboarding
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Information Security to ensure solution meets all necessary risk & regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Technical documentation as appropriate
  • Partner with Client Success to resolve client issues surrounding billing and reporting 
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and set realistic expectations
  • Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership

  • Performing other duties as assigned

What We Require

  • 3-5 years experience product management, product marketing, or equivalent experience in a technology context
  • 2 - 5 years of experience as a product owner in a scrum team in a fast-paced scaling environment
  • Strong technical background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience 
  • Demonstrated track record in crafting technical product positioning, messaging, content and programs
  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization 
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience growing an existing product line and building new, valuable products and features
  • Experience in a high growth startup with quickly expanding teams and aggressive revenue growth plans
  • Promoting, maintaining and enhancing our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion and leadership
  • Exhibiting a strong passion for learning our products and markets through in-house and external training
The salary range for this role is $137,000 - $171,000. Additional compensation will also include a company bonus / commission plan. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geographic location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
