What We’re Looking For

SambaSafety is looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our product team focused on delivering industry-leading mobility risk management solutions to our channel partners. You will play a key role in executing on our channel partner strategy by contributing to a balanced team consisting of product and engineering tasked with ensuring the performance, accuracy, and efficacy of our products and services. You must possess a blend of business and technical savvy, the ability to maintain a big-picture vision related to key business partners, and an aptitude to understand technical requirements. You must enjoy collaborating with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, solution consultants, sales reps, and other internal stakeholders with the goal of delivering innovative data-driven products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing on our channel partner product strategy
  • Be a subject matter expert on partner priorities and needs across all capabilities of the business
  • Work directly with engineering, QA and UX designers as a balanced team to write user stories, participate in recurring ceremonies, and communicate priorities
  • Collaborate with and synthesize information from stakeholders across the organization to identify new channel partner opportunities and communicate progress on in flight initiatives
  • Be an expert on channel partner capabilities and how our solutions solve their unique needs, including specific knowledge of API frameworks
  • Support the product leadership team in evolving and refining the channel partner roadmap by evaluating needs, competitive offerings, and industry trends
  • Work closely with project management and product marketing teams to support product launch activities, ensuring all parts of the product launch checklist are completed in a timely manner
  • Evaluate features and products post launch to establish if success goals are met to inform future features, products or launches
  • Work across multiple verticals within the organization to understand the big picture and collaborate effectively with other Product Managers within their respective domains


What We Want

  • 3+ years of software product management or related experience
  • Experience working in an Agile or Lean product organization
  • API literacy, including REST and SOAP interfaces
  • B2B and channel partnership relationship management
  • Comfortable working in a Kanban environment and collaborating with cross functional teams to gather, prioritize and deliver requirements
  • Ability to move fast while maintaining a customer-first and quality mindset
  • High data acumen, experience with data and analytics tools and techniques
  • An attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality products
  • Ability to communicate complex feature and data updates professionally and effectively
  • Self-starter and able to meet objectives independently
  • This position requires periodic travel
