Product Manager, Chrome OS

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
  
• 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  
• Know the lower level OS stack and communicate the product outlook to team members, cross-functional peers, and stakeholders.
  
• Ability to work within a highly technical environment; good understanding of technical requirements and limitations.

Work closely with our UI teams to develop new user-visible security features and services.

Work closely with other platform teams across the PA and across the company to build the most secure endpoint for enterprise users.

Responsibilities

• Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
  
• Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly.
  
• Work collaboratively with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting edge technologies.
  
• Develop solutions to problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions.
  
• Advocate for the most secure OS internally and externally, and work with our marketing and PR teams to develop a compelling, easy-to-understand security narrative.
