Product Manager CLB & Algos

Schonfeld Strategic Advisors LLC has an opening for a Product Manager CLB & Algos in New York, New York and Miami, Florida.

The position duties are as follows:  Responsible for developing Schonfeld’s Quantitative Investment Platform (QIP) product offering, a decision-making platform which supports multiple portfolio managers trading diverse strategies on a global scale. Day-to-day job duties:

• Performing business analysis and modeling, requirement gathering and document creation on various projects related to the Quant Investment Platform;
• Utilizing knowledge of electronic trading and related systems to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams to manage platform development projects;
• Defining business requirements for Schonfeld’s Quantitative Investment Platform (QIP), performing systems and data analysis, and assisting in project organization;
• Partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to realize innovative solutions to complex problems in the QIP and assist with overall product delivery; and
• Performing critical analysis on key business functions and form data-based conclusions to inform platform decisions.

The position requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or foreign equivalent, followed by at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager within the financial services industry. Experience must include:

1. 5 years of experience with business analysis of technical projects and platforms within the electronic/quantitative trading space;
2. 5 years of experience managing large scale, cross functional projects spanning multiple teams and regions;
3. 5 years of experience generating metrics to aid in management capacity analysis and reporting; and
4. 5 years of experience working with project management methodologies including Agile.

Telecommuting permitted two days per week max - must live within reasonable commuting distance of company's New York, NY or Miami, FL office.

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $254,000 & $300,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
