POSITION SUMMARY

As the Remote Product Manager over Client & Mobile areas for our applications, you will focus on how to build products and deliver value that solves customer problems in a delightful way. You will take ownership and accountability for this key platform stream and obsess over internal and external user problems, while collaborating with engineering and UX design to creatively solve these problems. You will report to the Director of Product and coordinate to ensure alignment across the broader product groups and our business goals.

The Product Manager over Client & Mobile discovers use cases related to PrinterLogic and Vasion products, and gives you the freedom to drive favorable product outcomes that help shape the future of the company. Your Mobile application will support print and workflow capabilities that allow Vasion customers access to a native app for iOS and Android. In addition, you will manage technical areas related to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, extensions used within the platform, and managing workstation clients for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome OS. You are entrusted to gather insights and work with your team to creatively solve crucial customer problems with big ideas, directing and defining how to best implement them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide internal and external customer discovery efforts to recognize the "why" behind everything we build
  • Collaborate daily with engineering and UX design to ensure what you are building is valuable, usable, feasible, and viable
  • Work with customer-facing and internal product line groups to acknowledge the voice of customer
  • Complete training and documentation under areas of ownership to ensure Customer Support and other teams are empowered to troubleshoot your product
  • Conduct market research and gather data to assimilate industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Complete ownership and holistic management of the product lifecycle to ensure that what you build meets customer needs by defining and monitoring success metrics
  • Support product alpha and beta releases where needed by helping to identify and recruit early adopters to validate your product
  • Utilize your comprehension of the customer to build a long-term vision for your product
  • Advocate for your product internally and externally, evangelizing for adoption and engagement
  • Assist with go-to-market efforts and enlist the required parties to effectively execute on plans that include your product

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or engineering, or related field (MBA Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of product management experience with demonstrated success building Enterprise SaaS software
  • Passionate about building and delivering engaging mobile app experiences
  • Combination of both technical and business acumen, preferably in mobile and platform services for software applications
  • Strong strategic thinking and directing abilities in driving to outcomes
  • Demonstrated product-led success defining, launching, and maintaining valuable products
  • Data-driven approach with strong logical and cross-group collaboration skills to bring the organization to consensus on decisions on both short and long-term product plans
  • Excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills - product documentation must be detailed, thorough, and complete
  • Understanding of modern product management best practices and experience practicing multiple techniques toward a product-led vision
  • Mix of quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities
  • Must be able to comprehend technical concepts and architectural diagrams
  • Bias for action - you don't wait for permission when you see a problem that needs to be solved
