Job Description

As a technology centric and end to end customer experience driven company, Comcast has embarked on a bold journey to embrace cloud computing and cloud-based technologies across its entire business.

With this goal in mind, over the last several years, many Engineering organizations across Comcast have begun to leverage cloud solutions and services to modernize their infrastructures and establish their future platforms for innovation.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a passionate advocate for our cloud user community, promoting engagement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Gather feedback, understand developer needs, and drive initiatives to improve their experience and satisfaction with our cloud products.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs, including online courses, workshops, and webinars, to educate our users on cloud technologies and best practices. Organize and coordinate events, such as conferences, meetups, and hackathons to foster community engagement and drive adoption.
  • Internalize and represent the Voice of the Customer throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform competitive analysis and conduct market research. Maintain an updated view of key competitive changes, offerings, and our users needs.
  • Participate in the strategic planning for enhancements to product features, and in defining product business and functional requirements.
  • Contribute to the product vision across team and the organization.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you can expect:

  • You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cloud-based products and services, including public and private cloud environments. This will give you a deep understanding of the cloud ecosystem.
  • You will be responsible for cloud user communications, including product releases and monthly newsletter updates, as well as technical documentation for our products, including user guides and reference documentation.
  • You will have the opportunity to help developers learn about and use our products, and you will be able to see the impact of your work on their success.
  • You will create training and events programs to help our cloud users learn about our products and services. This will give you the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise with others and help them to get the most out of our products
  • You will build relationships with key stakeholders across the company.

What you need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a cloud-based environment or developer-focused role.
  • Strong technical background with a deep understanding of cloud technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for developer advocacy and community engagement, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant technical certification is a plus.
