The Content Product team is responsible for creating delightful, relevant, and high quality content viewing and creation experiences. The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of Designers, Scientists, and Product Managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways.
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our machine-learning products and services that will enable better viewing and creation experiences for our Snap content and creators!
What you'll do:
  • Develop a vision, drive cutting-edge technical products and solutions that directly impact top-line engagement and content quality, own relationships with trusted third parties, and work cross-functionally with other ML Product teams.
  • Launch new machine learning solutions, human and automated labeling processes, and ultimately, better viewing and creation experiences.
  • Develop strategy and roadmaps; own products from conception to launch and beyond
  • Set metrics that inform the success and impact of your products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Operations, Engineering, and Data Science - aligning teams on a shared vision and steer execution towards that vision
  • Communicate and collaborate with trusted third parties
  • Develop and present go-forward recommendations with key stakeholders
  • Closely monitor and measure results of all features

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Experience in machine learning and/or content products
  • Ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced but collaborative and kind environment
  • A team player who can build trust with engineers, data science and other cross-functional teams
  • Define and analyze success metrics and input metrics for a large organization
  • Think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills .

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of experience in a product management, engineering, or data science at a technology company

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep analytical, prioritization and problem solving skills
  • Previous experience working in software product management
  • Previous experience working in or studying machine learning
  • Passion for short-form content products and the creator economy
  • Passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $230,000 - 268,000 annually
  • Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $219,000 - 254,000 annually
  • Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $196,000 - 228,000 annually

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
