The Product team uses creativity, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of Designers, Scientists, and Product Managers work in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring our community together in new and special ways. The Content Product team is responsible for creating delightful and relevant content creation and viewing experiences. These experiences include monetization, developing deeper relationships with fans, providing analytics and insights on how to build a following, giving them new ways to create topical and engaging content, and helping them be rewarded for it - all within a privacy- and safety-by-design framework.
We're looking for a Product Manager, Creator Experience to join our Spotlight Product team at Snap Inc!
What you'll do:
  • Develop goals, strategy and roadmaps; own products from inception to launch and beyond
  • Define and set metrics that inform the success and impact of your products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Talent Partnerships, and Data Science - aligning teams on a shared vision and steer execution towards that vision
  • Work closely with Creators to understand their needs, collect feedback, and develop solutions that support their content creation, growth, and monetization goals
  • Drive data-informed decision-making, leveraging user research, analytics, and other data sources to measure and optimize the performance of Creator products and features
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, emerging trends, and best practices in Creator tools, features, and monetization models

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced but collaborative and kind environment
  • Ability to build trust with engineers, data science and other cross-functional teams
  • Skilled communicator and expert organizer, exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills
  • Can anticipate questions and provide answers in advance by giving insights into what we're doing, why we're doing it, and when we're doing it, leaving no question unanswered
  • Can define and analyze success metrics and input metrics for a large organization
  • Ability to think creatively and approach problems with system-level thinking
  • Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 8+ years of direct product management experience, with a strong track record of delivering successful products and features in the social platform, content creation, or related space
  • Previous experience working on large scale mobile apps

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior work experience with Creators and the creator economy
  • Passion for Snapchat and creative problem-solving

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $205,000 - 295,000 annually
  • Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $195,000 - 280,000 annually
  • Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $174,000 - 251,000 annually

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
