About the Opportunity

This is a hybrid role in Reston, VA or Malvern, PA.

As Product Manager, you will play a key role in the development of innovative SaaS solutions for Advancement in higher education. You will work with a team dedicated to bolstering higher education, and your mission will be to help customers cultivate relationships and raise funding via alumni, donor, and staff experiences. You will partner with customers and other stakeholders to define requirements that will deliver market-leading customer experiences for our advancement domain product offerings. You will help drive product vision, strategy, and work closely with engineering, UX, and go-to-market teams. Ultimately, you will thrive in a collaborative, high-communication environment and build partnerships to deliver global customer outcomes.

About the opportunity

  • Conduct customer research and product discovery to synthesize market factors into a cohesive product strategy
  • Define product requirements, create epics, stories, and supplemental materials to support the completion of initiatives
  • Collaborate with customers to understand challenges and opportunities
  • Prioritize development activities to continuously deliver value to customers
  • Work collaboratively with R&D and UX to build roadmaps and plan releases
  • Evangelize product area through in-person, virtual presentations, and engagements
  • Support sales process with product expertise
  • Collaborate with solution success/launch team, comprised of stakeholders across all phases of the customer journey, to achieve successful customer adoption, value realization, satisfaction, and overall solution health

What you will bring

  • 3+ years of Advancement domain hands on experience
  • 2-7 years experience in product management or related field
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment preferred

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and requirements to cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret customer needs and translate them into software and operational requirements
  • Demonstrated experience prioritizing and working independently in an environment with ambiguity and evolving market priorities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to drive successful product outcomes
  • Flexibility in work hours, including the ability to work with stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • A customer-centric mindset with a desire to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • Experience delivering SaaS products, preferably in an enterprise B2B environment, is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD) framework is a plus
  • Strong data analysis and process-oriented decision-making skills are a plus
