Your Responsibilities
As a Product Manager, for Deere & Company, you will partner with a broad set of enterprise stakeholders (Digital Aftermarket & Customer Support, manufacturing, Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG), John Deere Financial) to define and execute the strategy for the new customer org data products within our Enterprise Data Lake (EDL). This data domain is the management of our John Deere customer organization data; how the data is structured, governed and leveraged for Business Intelligence, Self-Service BI and Analytics.
Additionally, you will:
  • Define product functionality and priority based on customer, dealer and Deere needs. Partner with IT to deliver on the highest-value features.
  • Communicate and align with other key Product Managers to ensure alignment across product families
  • Identify customer org data quality opportunities and partner with data product teams to drive process and system enhancements.

What Skills You Need
  • Proven experience working with enterprise data, with focus on providing high quality data to enable IT solutions, as well as support analytic capabilities
  • 2 or more years experience in a product strategy role, leading cross functional teams for data, reporting or analytical initiatives
  • 2 or more years experience using data or requirements analysis to identify and prioritize work for a product team
  • Strong experience identifying business value and solving complex problems through data to concisely articulate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and ultimately drive results
  • Experience with big data (Databricks, Redshift, Snowflake etc.) and business intelligence reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience in monitoring performance, optimization and utilization of data and business intelligence platforms
  • Demonstrated experience speaking with impact, as well as influencing without authority, at all levels of the organization
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills. Should be self-driven, highly motivated and ability to learn quickly

What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience working with industry specific data and business areas
  • Proven experience in data management - knowledge of data gathering techniques, data governance processes, and data modeling principles (relational, dimensional)
  • Experience developing with reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Jira)
  • Experience with Lean, Agile and flow methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and the software to manage the workloads (Asana, JIRA, Smartsheet etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data & Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
