Job Description
The Value Analysis & Strategic Sourcing (Lumere) Product Manager, Data is responsible for the ongoing health of purchase order history (POH) data pipeline, from upstream feed intake through to customer application products (e.g. Category Optimization) that consume and deliver value reliant on POH. This role requires an informed, strategic, customer-centric, enterprise-level perspective of the current and future state of POH data funnel, including key fail points and recommended remediations, consistently meeting customer SLAs for data quality and classification coverage, driving cross-functional alignment to execute key initiatives to completion, and ensuring the successful execution of annual and quarterly objectives. This role reports into the VA&SS product org.
A successful candidate is simultaneously strategic and detail-oriented, with a strong presence in front of senior management and customer facing teams. They also share a passion for the power of data to drive decision making, a thorough appreciation for data quality, an analytical mindset, and ability to design and improve systems and processes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Define and deliver on the vision & long-term scope of Lumere’s Purchase Order History (POH) asset
- Defines quarterly objectives and key results that will support annual objectives for VA&SS product pod; Aligns and mobilizes internal stakeholders to meet these objectives
- Meet SLA for 95% classified advanced category spend for device analytics customers
- Meet annual objective for eliminating critical, minimizing high impact data triage tickets
- Write insightful problem statements that help cross-disciplinary teams focus on co-creating valuable solutions. Work with the engineering, data operations, Service Line Advisors, Consulting Analysts, Data ETL to define and articulate their role in making the solution a reality.
- Writing technical user stories and complex acceptance criteria for technical teams
- Applies Subject Matter Expert of POH capabilities and customer use cases to product development discussions
- Provides continuous education and progress updates to Pod Leadership Team and cross-functional teams about known gaps in data funnel and progress on key initiatives, executive presence
- Evangelizes thought leadership on future state of data processes for the pod and GHX
- Represents VA&SS product and data priorities for initiatives involving CDP POH processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in product management or 5+ years experience in a consultative role requiring data management and analytics of provider ERP and/or EHR data
- Understanding of the healthcare industry required. Provider care delivery a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Advanced experience with SQL or comparable database language.
- Leveraging data to drive prioritization and justify decisions
- Experience working in cross functional teams that comprise software engineers, Data Operations, Data QA, Data ETL.
- Experience mobilizing cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, client services, sales & marketing etc.) to make vision a reality. Quick to gain credibility with others. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and shares an excitement to lead change
- Strong business acumen and customer engagement skills. Understanding of industry and customer trends. Strategic and creative thinking that enables application of those insights to deliver business results. Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Experienced in the art of prioritizing across different sources of ideas & feedback and balancing resource constraints to deliver the greatest impact for customers & the company
Estimated Salary Range for this position:Â $106,000 - $141,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
