Job Description

Team: Product

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Manager - Data Engineering in United States.

This fully remote Product Manager role sits at the intersection of data, engineering, and product strategy, focusing on building and scaling high-impact data platforms that power intelligent, AI-driven digital ecosystems. The role is responsible for shaping how data is collected, transformed, and leveraged across a global marketplace, enabling smarter decision-making and enhanced customer experiences. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-driven environment where product ownership spans discovery, strategy, and execution. Partnering closely with engineering, design, and analytics teams, you will translate complex business needs into clear, outcome-driven product roadmaps. The position requires strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving measurable impact. You will also play a key role in embedding AI-enabled capabilities into product workflows to improve efficiency and innovation. This is a high-visibility role with direct influence on platform scalability and data-driven transformation.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and manage a defined data engineering product domain, ensuring delivery of measurable business and customer outcomes.
  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmaps aligned with broader organizational and platform goals.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to discover, prioritize, and deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Leverage data insights, experimentation, and user feedback to define success metrics and guide product decisions.
  • Apply strong systems thinking to evaluate trade-offs between feasibility, impact, and user value.
  • Drive end-to-end product execution, from problem definition through development, launch, and iteration.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and strategic decisions clearly to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Continuously improve product processes and contribute to evolving product development practices, including AI-enabled workflows.
  • Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Product Manager in technical environments, ideally focused on data platforms, data engineering, or cloud-based systems.
    • Strong understanding of modern software development, APIs, data architecture, and iterative delivery methodologies.
    • Experience defining product problems, not just requirements, and delivering outcome-based solutions.
    • Ability to work with ambiguity, strong analytical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
    • Experience working with metrics frameworks such as OKRs and defining measurable success criteria.
    • Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with AI tools, automation technologies, and their application in product development.
    • Strong systems thinking and ability to connect technical architecture with business impact.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000+ depending on experience
      • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
      • Generous paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays
      • Paid parental leave and life event support
      • Stock option eligibility and bonus programs
      • Learning and development programs with internal training resources and AI-powered tools
      • Employee assistance programs and wellness initiatives
      • Inclusive culture with employee-led resource groups and career growth opportunities
      • Flexible work environment with strong focus on professional development and internal mobility.
