Product Manager - Data Engineering

Bond-Pro is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team for an upcoming Data Warehouse initiative. The successful candidate will have a solid hands-on technical background in data warehousing, data modeling and ETL in the Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS)

Bond-Pro is a Tampa-based SaaS company and the leader in providing software to insurance companies to manage their specialty line of Surety Bonds. These unique specialty insurance products require that underwriting integrates practices like commercial lending.

What is this role: 

This is a senior-level role requiring enterprise software and data warehouse experience. Must have experience taking functionality from the whiteboard through requirements generation and mockups and ultimately getting it delivered in partnership with development teams and QA. This role is a very hands-on technical product manager role vs a marketing-based product management position.

Required Experience and Skills: 

• 7-10 years’ experience creating solutions involving data warehouses, ETL, dashboards, etc. utilizing tools such as SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, etc.
• Gathering, researching and analyzing ideas for product features that customers will want. 
• Comparing the company’s products to competitors' products in order to assess competition in the market
• Driving the design and manufacturing of the product features
• Insurance, Finance, Credit, Banking or similar industry experience 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate with team members, other departments, upper management and consumers of the company’s products
• Superior project management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
• Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
• Team player who collaborates well with others

This position is fully remote, open to residents of Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania or Texas. MUST BE A RESIDENT OF ONE OF THESE STATES. Relocation is not an option.
