One Model is experiencing fast growth as a leader in the growing people analytics space and we are looking for someone to help us accelerate our vision for our People Data Cloud solution.  All companies have lots of different systems and invariably this applies to Human Resources as well. One Model’s People Data Cloud integrates data for our customers across all of their different systems into a unified analytics platform.

With customers and staff around the world One Model is a complete people analytics solution enabling companies to unlock the value of their HR data and use it to drive better decision making.  One Model has been experiencing incredible growth and as we continue to scale-up with a large (and pretty impressive) customer base there’s lots to do.

About One Model’s Product Management Team

We are building the best People Analytics platform in the world! We are inspired to create a product that customers love and is the standard bearer for innovative domain defining enterprise software.  We are running fast in two-week sprints and deliver product releases for customers twice a month. Our product teams are fully integrated across product design development and quality assurance. We are responsible for the full product lifecycle through ideation design development delivery change management and outcome achievement.

About One Model’s Data Integration Capability

The One Model platform ingests data from external systems through a variety of methods such as APIs database queries file transfers (S3/SFTP etc.) with terabytes of data ingested daily. We develop services that perform the data ingestion including connecting to new APIs to ingest data from new systems and maintaining and scaling existing ingestion services.

What you’ll work on

• Strategy - Contribute to the product strategy by describing business cases defining technical requirements and assessing ROI.  Analyze the market and competitive landscape for people analytics ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market trends.

• Decide what matters and what to do next - Prioritize product features and capabilities

• Bring clarity - Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.

• Work across the company - Collaborate closely with engineering customer success marketing and sales teams on the development QA and release of products.

• Build enthusiasm and excitement - Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates One Model and its features across primary market segments.  Present the roadmap to prospective and existing customers and assess their needs.

• Enablement - Document product capabilities develop go-to-market materials and support information tailored to different stages of the customer journey.

About You

• Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues working closely with customers and software engineers to find solutions to difficult data integration issues.

• You will be able to work in an agile environment balancing competing priorities.

• You have an analytical mind and can translate vague ideas and complex technical issues into detailed product requirements.

• Strong customer centricity. You can develop a high level of understanding and empathy for our end-users what they are trying to achieve and how we can help them get there

• Great communication skills to work with a virtual team across multiple timezones.

• You have a growth-mindset: We move fast and need people that are constantly curious.

You Have:

• Strong technical skills and experience working in areas such as data/software engineering data integration and data warehousing. Experience working with APIs is a definite advantage.

• Very strong communication skills and ability to lead and influence

• Hands-on experience with 2+ years as a product manager in a SaaS product company and experience working in an Agile environment with tools like JIRA Trello etc.

• While a degree or certification in software engineering computer science business marketing or communications is preferred we value diverse perspectives and encourage applications from professionals with varied educational backgrounds or equivalent experience.
