Product Manager (Data Platform)

The Role

As a Product Manager at TaxBit, you are responsible for building a software platform that reduces the friction of translating client data from various external sources to accelerate our capture of market share. You will be working closely with an agile group of software engineers, analysts, and vendors to develop a product suite our Operations team and, eventually, our clients, can leverage to integrate their data into our platform quickly. In addition, you will work across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders who need to integrate with TaxBit to use our tax, accounting, and government services. As a result, you will play a critical role in the success of our entire product suite. This role is high visibility and will require communication across multiple disciplines to drive coordinated action.

TaxBit has found product-market-fit and is now in a hypergrowth phase requiring the build of services that scale to to hundreds of API integrations, blockchains, and Enterprise customers globally. To accomplish this, you will need to drive product vision internally, influence our vendors, and identify new vendors to solve the problems we need to scale.

• Passionate about solving enterprise problems
• Partner closely with our subject matter experts, customers experience, and implementation teams to identify and address onboarding challenges we face with clients
• Influence engineering and vendors to create a platform that can enable fast client growth
• Manage vendor relationships and identify new vendors that can better address requirements
• Execute a product roadmap and release milestones; maintain communication with stakeholders to align with client and stakeholder needs
• Work with engineering and UX to define product requirements
• Empathize with your customers and develop simple solutions to their pain points
• Be able to create a compelling argument to either build or buy services to help us scale 

Who You Are

• 5+ years of product management experience
• 3+ years of experience working on data products
• Experience developing products or services to solve the root cause of a users problem
• Experience partnering with customer-facing teams to determine requirements
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple work streams simultaneously to drive overall development velocity
• Outstanding data analysis skills and knowledge to make data-driven business decisions.
• Comfort working with SQL
• Experience working with APIs or data schemas.
• (Nice to have) FinTech, Analytics, or DeFi/Blockchain Experience
