Position Overview
Seeking a collaborative product manager with a passion for turning data into insights, personalized experiences, and compelling data products.
As an Autodesk Product Manager for Data Products and Decision Science, your job will be to unlock the power and value of our customers' usage data. You will identify how we can provide actionable, timely and contextually appropriate insights and automation that users will love.
This role will require you to partner with domain/subject matter experts across Autodesk flagship products like AutoCAD, Revit and Fusion 360. You will collaborate with a data driven mindset and use your skills in analytics and decision science to derive and prove value.

The solutions you identify will combine the best of our design & manufacturing technologies, core Autodesk strengths and essential product usage and intent insights. In this role you will help to drive solution strategy, direction & prioritization, bridging technical and business worlds as you introduce new solutions that personalize product experience and value for each user. To be successful in this role, you must be results-driven, an enthusiastic self-starter and a strong collaborative leader.
Responsibilities
- Be the team leader and take responsibility for the value and objectives we are trying to achieve with our data products
- Constantly measure and adjust your strategy and based on facts, feedback and value
- Be obsessive with data, before during and after shipping products
- Create high quality functional requirements
- Clearly articulate user problems & solution objectives in order to guide experience and development teams
- Develop and articulate project intent, scope, timelines and deliverable
- Identify and describe target customers, personas and ecosystem influencers
- Partner with peers in the planning and execution of primary research to uncover insights into customer perceptions, problems and workflows
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in software industry
- In depth working experience with data analytics, data synthesis and hypothesis testing
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys participating in team and independently accountable roles
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Strong project management, planning and research skills
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
Preferred Qualifications
- BS, MBA/MS preferred
- Agile/SCRUM development process experience is a plus
- Experience in ML and AI a plus
- Behaviour science experience in software industry
- Strong passion for product management
- Interest and enthusiasm for data driven decision making

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $78,900 and $127,600. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
