ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Product Manager to join the Product Management team! Individual reports to Senior Product Manager - Devices. Role is a hybrid role, remote with some in-office hours in our Costa Mesa, CA office per week.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Manager - Device Operations role within our Product Management organization is responsible for the management and day-to-day operational oversight of Ultra Mobile’s partner-hosted and direct ecommerce websites, with a primary focus on optimizing the device purchase and post-purchase customer experience. 

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Accountable for accuracy of device details and technical specifications on all customer touch points. 
  • Partner closely with Demand Planning team on device inventory to support the direct-to-consumer sales channel.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of new or updated device information and implement improvements. 
  • Oversee and manage checklists and activities to ensure a frictionless customer experience with new flagship devices and other devices sold on Mint Mobile’s direct-to-consumer ecommerce platform.
  • Partner with Ecommerce Product Management, Ecommerce Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality Assurance teams to implement device launches and manage them throughout their lifecycle.
  • Assist Supply Chain and Quality Assurance teams with functional device testing as appropriate. 
  • Ensure accuracy of partner-hosted content related to devices including images, displays, product listing pages, product detail pages, cart page displays, banners, etc. 
  • Review partner-hosted site for quality assurance of functionality, user experience and device inventory accuracy.
  • Approve all new devices to be added to partner-hosted sites, verifying compatibility and certification before they are launched. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to facilitate and ensure successful implementation of updates to partner-hosted sites as appropriate, including those related to promotions, service plan changes, and other required changes in support of Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile projects. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and satisfaction associated with direct and partner websites as well as with device related policies. 
  • Establish key partner performance measures and track/report partner performance internally to the team on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage lifecycle of device promotions available on partner-hosted websites.
  • Lead weekly meetings with partner and manage/track actions, progress and status of initiatives, projects, customer issues, etc. 
  • Work with Care organization on efforts to improve customer service/experience.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • At least 3 years of relevant Product, Ecommerce or Operational experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree is preferred. 
  • Passionate about learning, problem-solving, and delivering a best-in-class experience for customers purchasing a mobile device.
  • Organized, with an innate attention to detail, and can execute tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced environment and pushing through ambiguity. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously.
  • Brings a commitment and enthusiasm to work within a dynamic organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric point of view.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and with a team.

In support of the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 - $120,000.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location.  We also offer a variety of benefits including health, disability insurance, 401 (k), flexible spending accounts, EAP, education reimbursement, parental leave, unlimited vacation, bonuses, and company paid holidays.  The specific programs and options available will vary depending on state, start date, and employment type.
