Product Manager Distribution Automation Communication

You will be part of a small team of product managers which create solutions for the distribution automation market for critical infrastructure.

Automation, monitoring, and control are key to make the electrical grid smart and adapt for the future needs on the journey to a fossil free future.

You will be responsible Communication technology which is a crucial block in the solution map.

The opportunity

• General information Responsible for managing the entire product life cycle for certain product(s) (e.g., hardware, software, wireless, web products, etc.)
• Researches and analyzes market conditions, and identifies key consumer trends and opportunities for product innovation/enhancements
• Determines product features and functions, and oversees product development liaising with cross functional teams.
• Prepares product documents and supports sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise.
• Uses market feedback to evaluate product functionality and drives present/future product direction.

• Develop product roadmap in alignment with market requirements and R&D capacity in mind
• Contribute with the product to a system approach for the distribution automation market
• Identify key features to make the product successful
• Prioritize feature implementation to maximize market success
• Align with other functions in the organization

• 5+ experience in high technology domains
• Good understanding (preferably hands-on) of the whole SDLC
• Technically savvy, with a solid understanding of networking, wired and wireless (wifi, but cellular in particular)
• Very good communication skills, with fluent English
• Proven track record of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders including direct exposure to the customers
• Basic understand of IT/telecommunication cybersecurity aspects (technology, design, tradeoffs, etc.)
