What You’ll Do:

 The Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution of the product roadmap across our multiple sites with a significant focus on E-commerce and mobile apps. This is a highly matrixed, highly visible role that requires a strong communicator with deep relationships with brand, retail, sales, creative, legal, compliance, technology, and analytics stakeholders to ensure that organizational needs are met.             

  •  Set the strategic roadmap for digital products: Develop a vision and execute a holistic product strategy and roadmap for our digital products, inclusive of aspirational functions, operational fixes, and functional priorities (marketing content, retail merchandising, etc.). Identify key opportunities for improvement in user experience and business performance and determine the order in which we should implement them. Understand user needs, website performance, evolving market trends, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new products and features.
  • Build and maintain a product backlog: Responsible for building, prioritizing, monitoring/editing, and maintaining the flow of team backlog to ensure the delivery of customer satisfaction and multi-million-dollar business value. Partner with analytics, sales, and retail stakeholders to define product strengths and weaknesses. Build and maintain an agile (Scrum / Sprint) team backlog with input from various team members that addresses points of weakness.
  • Develop requirements & user stories: Communicate product needs through the collection and creation of functional specifications, business requirements, user stories, and data analysis that include acceptance criteria and acceptance tests. Provide architecture and development teams sufficiently detailed feedback on user stories and product vision to ensure the team maintains the technical integrity of features / functionality. Create briefs for creative team to develop the user interfaces that represent requirements and stories. Create additional documentation as needed, including step-by-step workflows, mock-ups/prototypes, and API integration requirements.
  • Collaboration and communication: Work cross-functionally, collaborating with key stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities that marketing can impact. Conduct regular meetings with senior management and other stakeholders to communicate priorities and progress. Effectively communicate across the organization, sharing project updates, timelines, processes, and results, demonstrating the impact of the digital products on the business.
  • Travel Requirements: 5%
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, marketing, or statistics.
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms and agile development workflow software.
  • 3 – 5 years as Product Manager with a focus on e-commerce and mobile apps.
  • Proficient knowledge of Product Management principles and processes.
  • Ability to deep-dive data, generate insights, identify business opportunities, and execute them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors).
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical and people skills.
  • Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions using solutions-based thinking in problem solving, asking probing questions and looking for underlying issues.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural collaboration skills and service orientation.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Agile Product Development, preferred
  • Experience in restricted categories preferred.
