Sinch Voice, formerly known as Inteliquent, empowers cloud communications for service providers and enterprises over the country's largest and highest quality independent voice network, with over 125 million numbers in service and carrying over 300 billion voice minutes annually. Sinch Voice began expanding its network globally in 2021, and we expect to add 40 countries to our network by the end of 2023. Through our IP-based network and cloud communications platforms, Sinch Voice offers a variety of solutions for service providers and enterprises as they seek to evolve their communications to the cloud and improve their customer engagement.

Overview:

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Elastic SIP Trunking team. As part of the Enterprise Cloud Voice Product team, this position is dedicated to driving the product roadmap and vision for Sinch's cloud-based SIP Trunking platform. You will work closely with customers, partners, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs now and into the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously innovate and test ideas with customers and internal collaborators. Build mock-ups via virtual or in-person whiteboard sessions. Be ambitious; there are no bad ideas and be prepared to defend your vision.
  • Prioritize and review how your development pipeline is progressing and advise our PMO, Product Development and Engineering teams to deliver solutions timely and within budget.
  • We need a person to drive the product vision and the results. This will require engaged conversation with Marketing, Sales, and Engineering; by establishing go-to-market strategy and showcase product features we are offering to elicit the ideal customer response.
  • Crafting exciting ideas on how to innovate Cloud Based infrastructure to deliver Sip based communication services.
  • Immersed team environment where ideas are shared and nurtured to bring out the best solutions.
  • Proven track record with developing and lunching new products and features to the market.
  • Ability to optimize current processes and a keen eye to develop new processes to stimulate further efficiencies.
  • Partner with Customer Support and Operations to deliver world-class-customer service.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews with Operations and Sales to evaluate the data sets and opportunities for further refinement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years in a Product Management position within the telecommunications industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of networking/telecommunications and/or voice/data communications technology.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum product teams.
  • Prior experience developing products for global markets.
  • Proven understanding of the global voice market and the regional differences in consumer needs and buyer behavior.
  • Proficient with driving technical requirements into a software engineering team
  • Knowledgeable with building solutions on opensource platforms such as Kamailio, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH or Asterisk a plus.
  • Prior experience delivering cloud products using APIs considered a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and their offerings.
  • Refined knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP and RTP a plus.
  • Experience with developing, designing, and consuming API services to meet the needs of a product a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and globally.
