Product Manager, End User Applications

Role Description: 

Beacon is looking for a Product Manager with a passion for financial analytics and cutting edge technology. In this role you will be responsible for shaping the product vision and for management of products tailored to traders and risk managers at our capital markets clients. You will work within a product team with fantastic engineers and quants, who have made customer focus their top priority. You will ensure that Beacon product ideas are valuable and viable. You will lead product discovery with external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

• Drive collection and analysis of product ideas, contributed by customers and internal stakeholders.
• Fearlessly own the product backlog.
• In close collaboration with engineers on the team, ship functionality that amazes the users, while making a measurable impact on Beacon's business.
• Maintain clear communication of the product wins and plans to Beacon's executives and clients.
• Work closely with product marketing and our client community to launch new features and drive product awareness and adoption.

Qualifications 

• 2-5 years of product management or product design experience at a B2B technology company building for the financial industry, or at a financial institution supporting front and/or middle office users.
• Domain knowledge of financial instruments, risk and/or portfolio management analytics, and market data. 
• Understanding of the techniques of modern software product discovery.
• Demonstrated experience in building software products with revenue impact.
• Experience working in Agile teams to deliver software products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Working knowledge of Python is preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.

Expected Range: $150,000 - $230,000
